To copy from SIM to phone;

1. Press the Menu key
2. Select Contacts
3. Select Options (left soft key)
4. Scroll to SIM contacts and highlight
5. Push the Navi key to the right, highlight SIM directory and Select (left soft key)
6. Select Options (left soft key)
7. Highlight Mark/Unmark and push the Navi key to the right, highlight Mark all and Select (left soft key)
8. Select Options (left soft key), scroll to Copy to Contacts and Select (left soft key).

To copy from phone to SIM;

1. Press the Menu key
2. Select Contacts
3. Select Options (left soft key)
4. Highlight Mark/Unmark and push the Navi key to the right, highlight Mark all and Select (left soft key)
5. Highlight Copy to SIM directory and Select (left soft key).

To check/change the message centre number;

Select 'Menu'.
Select 'Messaging'.
Select 'Options' (left softkey).
Highlight 'Settings' and select (left softkey).
Highlight 'Text message' and select (press Navi key).
Highlight 'Message centres' and select (press Navi key).
Highlight the message centre and select (press Navi key).
Highlight 'Message centre number' and select (press Navi key).
Enter either.

To turn off the predictive text?

1. Press the menu button (button on the left hand side of the phone, next to the Navi key).
2. Highlight 'Tools' and select (press Navi key).

5. Highlight 'Personalisation' and select (press Navi key).
6. Highlight 'Language' and select (press Navi key).
7. Highlight 'Predictive text' press Navi key to toggle between on and off.

To change to manual/automatic network selection;

Press the 'Menu' key.
Scroll to 'Tools', highlight and select (press Navi key).
Highlight 'Settings' and select (press Navi key).
Highlight 'Phone' and select (press Navi key).
Highlight 'Network' and select (press Navi key).
Highlight 'Network mode' and select (press Navi key).
Highlight either 'Dual mode' (best mode to choose), 'UMTS' or 'GSM' and select (press Navi key)
Highlight 'Operator selection' and select (press Navi key)
Select either 'Automatic' or 'Manual' and press 'OK' (left softkey).

Offline mode enables you to switch off the phone part of the mobile.

When in 'Offline mode you can not make and receive calls, but you can continue using other parts of the phone like the camera, music player etc.

To switch on/off

Press 'Menu' key
Highlight 'Tools' and 'Select' (press in Navi key)
Highlight 'Profiles' and 'Select' (press in Navi key)
Select a 'Profile' of your choice (press in Navi key)
and 'Select' (left softkey) to Activate.

Alternatively

Press the on/off button quickly and the list of 'Profiles' will be shown.
Select a 'Profile' of your choice (press in Navi key)

To change the PIN number on the phone;

Press the 'Menu' key
Select 'Tools'
Select 'Settings'
Select 'General'
Scroll to 'Security'
Select 'Phone and SIM card'
Select 'PIN code'
Enter old PIN code
Select 'OK' (left softkey)
Enter new PIN code
Select 'OK' (left softkey)
Verify new PIN code
Select 'OK' (left softkey)
