To set the alarm:
1. From standby select "Menu" then "Alarms"
2. Scroll to an alarm and select "edit"
3. Scroll to time and select "edit"
4. Enter a time and select "ok" then "save"

To set a recurrent alarm:
1. From standby select "menu" then "alarms"
2. Scroll to "alarm" and select "edit"
3. Scroll to "recurrent" and select "edit"
4. Scroll to "day" and select "mark"
5. To select another day scroll to the day and select "mark"
6. Select "done" then "save"

To set an alarm signal:
1. From standby select "menu" then "alarms"
2. Scroll to an alarm and select "edit"
3. Scroll to the music tab
4. Scroll to "alarm signal" and press "edit"
5. Find and select an alarm signal, and then select "save"

To snooze or turn off the alarm:
1. When alarm rings, press any key then select "Snooze" or "Turn Off"

To Cancel the alarm:
1. From standby select "menu" then "alarms"
2. Scroll to "alarm" then select "turn Off"

To set the alarm to sound or not in silent mode:
1. From standby mode select "menu" then "alarms"
2. Scroll to "alarm" and select "edit"
3. Scroll to the music tab
4. Scroll to "silent mode" and select "edit"
5. Select an option

To turn the bluetooth function on:
1. From standby select "menu" then "settings"
2. Select the "connectivity" tab then "bluetooth"
3. Select "turn on"

To receive an item:
1. From standby select "menu" then "settings"
2. Select the "connectivity" tab then "bluetooth"
3. Select "turn on"
4. When you receive an item follow the instructions that appear

To pair the phone with a device:
1. From standby select "menu" then "settings"
2. Select the "connectivity" tab then "bluetooth"
3. Select "my devices"
4. Scroll to "new Device" then select "add" to search for available devices
5. Select a device
6. Enter a passcode if required

To allow connection to the phone:
1. From standby select "menu" then "settings"
2. Select the "connectivity" tab then "bluetooth"
3. Select "my devices"
4. Select a device from the list
5. Select "options" then "allow connection"
6. Select "always ask" or "always allow"

To pair the phone with a bluetooth handfree for the first time:
1. From standby select "menu" then "settings"
2. Select the "connectivity" tab then "bluetooth"
3. Select "handsfree"
4. Scroll to a device and select "yes"
5. Enter a passcode if required

You can choose whether month, week or day view will appear when you open the calendar
To set default view:
1. From standby select "menu", "organiser" then "calendar"
2. Select "options" then "advanced then "default view"
3. Select an option

You can add new appointments or reuse existing appointments
To add an appointment:
1. From standby select "menu", "organiser" then "calendar"
2. Select a date
3. Scroll to "new appointment" then select "add"
4. Enter the information and confirm each entry
5. Select "save"

To view an appointment:
1. From standby select "menu", "organiser" then "calendar"
2. Select a date
3. Scroll to an appointment and select "view"

To edit an appointment:
1. From standby select "menu", Organiser" then "calendar"
2. Select a date
3. Scroll to an appointment and select "view"
4. Select "options" then "edit"
5. Edit the appointment and confirm each entry
6. Select "save"

To view a calendar week:
1. From standby select "menu", "organiser" then "calendar"
2. Select a date
3. Select "options" then "change view to week"

To set when reminders should sound:
1. From standby select "menu", "organiser" then "calendar"
2. Select a date
3. Select "options" then "advanced" and choose "reminders"
4. Select an option

To take a picture:
1. Activate the camera by sliding out the lens cover
2. Press the camera button half way down to auto focus
3. When the dot and focus frame are green press fully down to take a picture

To use zoom:
1. Press the volume keys up or down

To add a phone contact:
1. From standby select "menu" then "contacts"
2. Scroll to "new contact" then select "add"
3. Enter the name then select "ok"
4. Scroll to "new number" then select "add"
5. Enter the number then select "ok"
6. Select a number type
7. Scroll between tabs and select a field to add information
8. Select save

To call a phone contact:
1. From standby select "menu" then "contacts"
2. Scroll to a contact then press the green call button

To edit contacts:
1. From standby select "menu" then "contacts"
2. Scroll to a contact select "options" then "edit contact"
3. Scroll between the tabs and select "add" or "edit"
4. Select an option and an item to add or edit
5. Select "save"

To copy names and numbers from the phone to the SIM card
1. From standby select "menu" then "contacts"
2. Scroll to "new contacts" then select "options"
3. Select "advanced" then "copy to sim"
4. Select an option
NB: When you copy all contacts from your phone to SIM card, all existing SIM card information is replaced.

To copy names and numbers from the SIM card to phone:
1. From standby select "menu" then "contacts"
2. Scroll to "new contacts" then select "options"
3. Select "advanced" then "copy from sim"
4. Select an option

To automatically save names and numbers to the SIM card:
1. From standby select "menu" then "contacts"
2. Scroll to "new contact" then select "options"
3. Select "advanced" then "auto save on sim"
4. Select an option

To save contacts on a memory card:
1. From stanby select "menu" then "contacts"
2. Scroll to "new contact" then select "options"
3. Select "advanced" then "back up to m. card"

In flight mode the network and radio transceivers are switched off to prevent disturbance to sensitive equipment.
When the flight mode menu is activated you are asked to select the mode the next time you turn your phone on.

To activate flightmode menu:
1. From standby select "menu" then "settings"
2. Select "general" then "flight mode" then "show at startup"

To select flight mode:
1. When the flight mode menu is activated turn off your phone
2. Turn on your phone and select "flight mode"

Some general tips to help take better pictures are,

1. The steadier your phone is when taking the picture the better the shot is likely to be, so where possible, rest yourself or the camera on or against something that won’t move.
2. Take care not to move the phone too soon after you believe the picture has been taken, as there can be a delay between when you press the button and when the shot is taken.
3. If your phone doesn’t have a built-in flash or light, add additional lighting where you can or outside in natural daylight where appropriate.

Please Note: The numbers of colours a phones screen can display can vary between 16 thousand to 16 million. So you won't see how good or bad your pictures are until you have transferred them to a PC.

If you find that you’ve used up the memory in the phone then you can add more memory by purchasing a memory card.  Memory cards vary in shape and memory size so please check the phone’s user guide before purchasing one.  There may be limits to the amount of memory you can add and you’ll need to make sure you order the right type.

2. Highlight 'Organizer' and 'Select'.
3. Highlight 'File manager' and 'Select'.
4. Press 'Options' (left softkey).
5. Highlight 'Memory status' and 'Select'.

8. Highlight 'Format mem.card' and 'Select'.
9. You will now see the message: "Note: All content on memory card will be lost. Format anyway?".
10. Press 'Yes'.
11. Enter 'Phone lock code" (this is as default 0000) and press 'OK'.

Picture messages can contain text, pictures, slides, sound recordings, video clips, signatures and attachments. You can send picture messages to a mobile phone or email address.

To create and send a picture message:
1. From standby select "menu" then "messaging"
2. Select "write new" then "picture message"
3. Enter text. To add items to the message press the navi key down then sroll the navi key right to select an item.
4. Select "continue" then "contacts lookup"
5. Select a recipient then select "send"

To enter a messaging service centre number
1. Select 'Menu' (press Navi key).
2. Highlight 'Messaging' and 'Select' (press Navi key).
3. Highlight 'Settings' and 'Select' (press Navi key).
4. Highlight 'Text message' and 'Select' (press Navi key).
5. Highlight 'Service centre' and 'Edit' (press Navi key).
6. Highlight 'New ServiceCentre' and 'Add'
7. Enter either, Pay Monthly: +447802000332 or Pay as you go: +447802092035
8. Press 'Save' (press Navi key).
9. You will now see the message "Set as active service centre?".
10. Select 'Yes' (press Navi key).

To write and send a text message:
1. From standby select "menu" then "messaging"
2. Select "write new" then "text messaging"
3. Write the message then select "continue" then "contacts lookup"
4. Select a recipient then select "send"

To copy and paste text in a text message:
1. When you write a message select "options" then "copy & paste"
2. Select "copy all" or "mark & copy", scroll to and mark text in the message
3. Select "options" then "copy & paste" then "paste"

To add an item to a text message:
1. When you write a message Select "options" then "add item"
2. Select an option then add an item

To call a number in a text message:
1. When you view the message scroll to the number
2. Select the green call button

To turn long messages on:
1. From standby select "menu" then "messaging"
2. Select "settings" then "text messages"
3. Select "max message lengh" then "max available"

You can send and receive a sound recording as a voice message:

To record and send a voice message:

To change to automatic network selection;

3. Highlight the 'Connectivity' tab by pressing the Navi key to the left or right.
4. Highlight 'Mobile networks' and 'Select' (press Navi key).
5. Highlight 'Search mode' and 'Select' (press Navi key).
6. Highlight 'Automatic' and 'Select' (press Navi key).

To listen to the radio:
1. Connect the handsfree to the phone (this acts as the antenna)
2. From standby select "menu" then "radio"

To change the Volume:
1. When the radio is playing press the volume keys up or down

To automatically search for channels:
1. When the radio is playing, select "search"

To manually search for channels:
1. When the raido is playing push the navi key to the right or left

You can save up to 20 preset channels
To save channels:
1. When you have found a radio channel select "options" then "save"
2. Scroll to a position and select "insert"

To select saved channels:
1. From standby select "menu" then "raido"
2. Select "options" then "channels"
3. Select a radio channel

To switch between saved channels:
1. When the radio is playing, press the navi key up or down

To set a ringtone:
1. From standby select "menu" then "settings"
2. Select the "sounds and alerts" tab then "ringtone"
3. Find and select a ringtone

To set the ringtone volume:
1. From standby select ""menu" then "settings"
2. Select the "sounds and alerts" tab then "ring volume"
3. Press the navi key right or left to change the volume
4. Select "save"

To set the vibrating alert:
1. From standby select "menu" then "settings"
2. Select the "sounds and alerts tab" then "vibrating alert"
3. Select an option

On the Standby screen

1. Press the Navi key right.
2. Press the * key.
3. press the Navi key left twice.
4. Press the * key.
5. Press the Navi key left.
6. Press the * key.
7. Highlight 'Service info' and 'Select' (left softkey).
8. Highlight 'Software info' and 'Select' (left softkey).

1. Select 'Menu' (press Navi key).

Speed dialling lets you select 9 contacts that you can dial quickly. The contacts can be saved in positions 1-9.

To add contacts to speed dial numbers:
1. From standby select "menu" then "contacts"
2. Scroll to "new contact" the select "options" then "speed dial"
3. Scroll to a position number then select "add"
4. Select a contact

To speed dial:
1. from standby enter the position number then select the green calling button

By creating voice commands you can voice dial (call somebody by saying their name) or answer and reject calls when you use a handsfree

To record a voice command using voice dialling
1. From standby select "menu", "settings", "general"
2. Select "voice control", "voice dialling" and then "activate"
3. Select "yes" then "new voice control" and select a contact.
4. Record a voice comand such as "bob mobile"
5. Follow the instructions that appear, wait for the tone and say the command to record. The voice command is played back to you.
6. If the recording sounds ok select "yes", if not select no and repeat recording steps

To Voice dial:
1. From standby press and hold down a volume key
2. Wait for a tone and say a recorded name e.g. "bob mobile", the name is played back to you and the call connected

To activate voice answering and record voice answer commands:
1. From standby select "menu", "settings" then "general"
2. Select "Voice control", "voice answer" then "activate"
3. Follow the instructions that follow then press "cont"Wait for the tone and say "answer" or another word
4. Select "yes" to accept or "no" for another recording
5. follow the instructions that appear and select "cont"
6. Select where your voice command is to be activated

To answer a call using voice commands
1. say "answer" when it rings
