If you have contacts on your SIM you will be prompted to copy them to the phone memory when you first insert the SIM and turn the phone on, or first enter the contacts menu.

If not, then to copy from SIM to phone,

1. Select Menu (press Navi key)
2. Highlight Contacts and Select (press Navi key)
3. You will see the message,

Copy info from SIM card? It may take a few minutes.

4. Select Yes (press Navi key).

If this does not appear then,

5. Press Options (left soft key)
6. Highlight More and Select (press Navi key)
7. Highlight Advanced and Select (press Navi key)
8. Highlight Copy from SIM and Select (press Navi key)
9. Highlight Copy all and Select (press Navi key)
10. You will now see the message,

Copying from SIM card may take a few minutes. Copy now?.

11. Select Yes (press Navi key).

To copy from phone to SIM,

1. Select Menu (press Navi key)
2. Highlight Contacts and Select (press Navi key)
3. Press Options (left soft key)
4. Highlight More and Select (press Navi key)
5. Highlight Advanced and Select (press Navi key)
6. Highlight Copy to SIM and Select (press Navi key)
7. Highlight Copy all and Select (press Navi key)
8. You will now see the message,

Note: All SIM contacts will be replaced by phone contacts. Copy anyway?.

9. Select Yes (press Navi key).

Flight mode enables you to switch off the phone part of the mobile.

When in Flight mode you cannot make and receive calls, but you can continue using other parts of the phone like the camera, music player etc.

When you switch on the phone you will be asked which mode you require either,

1. Normal mode
2. Flight mode

Switch the phone off and on again to switch modes.

Some general tips to help take better pictures are,

1. The steadier your phone is when taking the picture the better the shot is likely to be, so where possible, rest yourself or the camera on or against something that won’t move.
2. Take care not to move the phone too soon after you believe the picture has been taken, as there can be a delay between when you press the button and when the shot is taken.
3. If your phone doesn’t have a built-in flash or light, add additional lighting where you can or outside in natural daylight where appropriate.

Please Note: The numbers of colours a phones screen can display can vary between 16 thousand to 16 million. So you won't see how good or bad your pictures are until you have transferred them to a PC.

There are three places to find the IMEI number

1. On the box the phone came in
2. Underneath the battery in the phone
3. Dial *#06# on the phone.

If you find that you’ve used up the memory in the phone then you can add more memory by purchasing a memory card.  Memory cards vary in shape and memory size so please check the phone’s user guide before purchasing one.  There may be limits to the amount of memory you can add and you’ll need to make sure you order the right type.

Before formating your memory card,  backup anything you have stored on the card using the PC Suite software that came with the phone.

To format the memory card,

1. Select the Menu (Navi key)
2. Highlight Organizer and Select (press Navi key)
3. Highlight File manager and Select (press Navi key)
4. Press Options (left soft key)
5. Highlight Memory status and Select (press Navi key)
6. Highlight Memory card and press the Navi key.
7. Press Options (left soft key)
8. Highlight Format mem.card and Select (press Navi key)
9. You will now see the message,

Note: All content on memory card will be lost. Format anyway?.

10. Press Yes (press Navi key)
11. Enter Phone lock code (this is as default 0000) and press OK.
    

To enter the message centre number on your phone, please follow the instructions below,

1. Select the Menu (Navi key)
2. Highlight Settings and Select (press Navi key)
3. Highlight Connectivity and Select (press Navi key)
4. Highlight Message settings and Select (press Navi key)
5. Highlight Text message and Select (press Navi key)
6. Highlight Service centre and Edit (press Navi key)
7. Highlight New ServiceCentre and Add
8. Enter either,

• Pay Monthly: +447802000332
• Pay & Go: +447802092035

9. Press Save (press Navi key)
10. You will now see the message,  Set as active service centre?
11. Select Yes (press Navi key).
    

To change to manual network selection,

1. Select the Menu (press Navi key)
2. Highlight Settings and Select (press Navi key)
3. Highlight Connectivity and Select (press Navi key)
4. Highlight Mobile networks and Select (press Navi key)
5. Highlight Search mode and Select (press Navi key)
6. Highlight Manual and Select (press Navi key)
7. Highlight Select network and Select (press Navi key)

The phone will now search for networks in your area.

8. Highlight your required network and Select (press Navi key).

To change to automatic network selection,

1. Select the Menu (press Navi key)
2. Highlight Settings and Select (press Navi key)
3. Highlight Connectivity and Select (press Navi key)
4. Highlight Mobile networks and Select (press Navi key)
5. Highlight Search mode and Select (press Navi key)
6. Highlight Automatic and Select (press Navi key).

To change the PIN number on your phone,

1. Select the Menu (Navi key)
2. Highlight Settings and Select (press Navi key)
3. Highlight General and Select (press Navi key)
4. Highlight PIN codes and Select (press Navi key)
5. Highlight SIM protection and Select (press Navi key)
6. Highlight Change PIN and Select (press Navi key)
7. Enter Old PIN, then press OK (press Navi key)
8. Enter New PIN, then press OK (press Navi key)
9. Repeat New PIN, then press OK (press Navi key).

Before starting a reset, please backup anything you have stored in the handset, this includes contacts.

1. Select the Menu (press Navi key)
2. Hightlight Settings and Select (press the Navi key)
3. Highlight General and Select (press the Navi key)
4. Highlight Master reset and Select (press the Navi key)

You now have two options,

• Reset settings this will delete any changes you have made to the settings on your phone
• Reset all will delete all your settings and content, such as contacts, messages, pictures, sounds and downloaded games. You may also lose content that was in the phone at purchase

5. Highlight your choice then press Select (Navi key)
6. After reading the warning message, press Continue (Navi key)
7. Press Continue (Navi key) again, for the phone to reset.

On the Standby screen,

1. Press the joystick right
2. Press the * key
3. Press the joystick left twice
4. Press the * key
5. Press the joypad left
6. Press the * key
7. Highlight Service info and Select (left soft key)
8. Highlight Software info and Select (left soft key).

This method can be tricky to do and you must ignore what you see on the screen when you're pressing the keys.

You could instead,

1. Select the Menu (press Navi key)
2. Highlight Settings and Select (press Navi key)
3. Highlight General and Select (press Navi key)
4. Highlight Update software and Select (press Navi key)
5. Highlight Software version and Select (press Navi key).
   

To enter the Voicemail centre number on your phone, 

1. Select the Menu (press Navi key)
2. Highlight Messaging and Select (press Navi key)
3. Highlight Messages and Select (press Navi key)
4. Highlight Settings and Select (press Navi key)
5. Highlight Voicemail number and Select (press Navi key)
6. Enter 901 and press OK
7. You will now see the message,

Number saved. Press and hold 1 to call.

8. Press OK (left soft key).
